I’ve been a resident of South Kitsap since 1983 and will bring over 37 years of business know-how to the State Legislature that includes experience as a commercial banker, a Chief Financial Officer for a private business, a business owner, a real estate agent and a mortgage lender. I have spent the past eight years proudly serving the citizens of Kitsap as their County Commissioner and was re-elected in 2004 by the highest percentage margin of victory of any commissioner.

I spent 14 years in commercial banking, owned my own business for nine years that employed over 50 people in both Kitsap and Pierce Counties and worked in real estate, specializing in helping families find affordable housing. While working in real estate, I was honored as the “Top Company Sales Associate” for seven consecutive years.

I have 37 years of extensive community service activities, and have served as an officer and a board member in many local community organizations, as well as holding state and national posts. Within my duties as County Commissioner, I have also led a number of statewide groups. I will put that experience and leverage the connections I have made doing so to work for the people of the 26th District.

My roots here run deep. I care about our state and our citizens. I believe Washington is at a major crossroad in time. We need fresh ideas, experienced leadership, and common sense solutions to the challenges facing us. I ask for your vote and for your support.
